It was clean, I will be back. Enjoyed my very good stay in the old town of Hanoi. I've booked double room with 2 beds and everything was perfect. The room had Wi-Fi and a lovely balcony plus smoke detectors, provided for safety measures. The hotel was in a magnificent location next to shops, restaurants.

I ate at a good restaurant with a beautiful view of Hoàn Kiếm lake. The bed was extremely comfy and the balcony had exceptional views across the central lake and surrounding city. Actually everything was good, my next choice again in Hanoi.

The room I had was decent sized and brand-new with a bathtub, late evening drinks, perfect view. The breakfast offered was savoury with hot drinks to go and freshly squeezed juices and 360 view.

The atmosphere created was family! It was conveniently located for seeing a traditional water puppet theater. A night market and a market where right next door.

I was there for 1 night and ate at rooftop restaurant for breakfast. The view of the Hoan Kiem lake from the window was great, truly enjoyed it. The location was fantastic, at a short distance from Hoan Kiem Lake. Overall the service was good. Got wake up calls free of charge, not bad too. Was a lovely base for trip.

Got a little small room also Wi-Fi was weak, made me a little nervous.

The San Grand Hotel & Spa in Hanoi exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful at all times, providing excellent service. The location is perfect with great views over Hoan Kiem Lake and a short walk to the old and French quarters. The hotel facilities are amazing, including a rooftop bar with stunning views. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely book again on our return from Ha Long.

What a fine stay, no complains at all. Fairly clean place with breathtaking view of the lake. Conveniently located and walking distance to a museum and a church. Well-designed and reasonably large room, luxurious bathroom. Excellent service throughout stay. Not to mention good wifi!
